Andrew Kumar is a Group Product Manager / Practice Lead on the Platform Technology and Strategy group of TELUS Digital, where his team is currently leading a transformative program around product development and technology stack unification.

Prior to TELUS, Andrew has spent ~15 years in the Digital Technology and Marketing industry, helping some of the world’s largest companies reimagine how they interact with their customers and manage their businesses in the digital economy.


An occasional writer and public speaker on technology culture, strategy, and product management, Andrew has recently spoken at Canada Day (part of Web Summit Conference) in Lisbon, Portugal and spoken at TELUS Brand Summit in Toronto, Canada. Andrew is is an active member of product, tech, and design communities in Toronto, supporting Toronto Product PeopleTechMasters and DesignX.

Recently, Andrew has joined General Assembly Toronto (Bitmaker) as a Instructor – Product Management, focusing on advanced topics such as Objectives + Key Results + KPIs, Roadmaps, and Technology for Product Managers.


Andrew received a BA from Simon Fraser University with specializations in Interactive Arts and Technology, Management Information Systems, and Computing Science.

Additionally, Andrew holds the Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Certified Scrum Master certifications.


Andrew lives in amazing Toronto, Canada, with his wife, son, and two active dogs.
